the best food i’ve had in a long time, tamales were fantastic! the restaurant is also very nice inside with very great staffing. i highly recommend coming to this restaurant!!! 10/10

The great food and service is back!The owner has cleaned out the old staff and manager; today's staff was excellent and the food is delicious like it used to be. The sizzling Molcajete is a Locos creation and absolutely delicious (come hungry for they don't skimp on portion size). The steak burrito and beef tacos were taste treats. Our drinks were great and our waitress, Adriana, was fabulous!Glad Locos has returned to a favorite destination for our household.

I've eaten at many of Mexican restaurants near and around Joliet, let me say that Loco's by far has the best food. Everything is freshly made and you can certainly taste it! No canned food here, the salsa the chicken even the steak is so good. I happen to talk to the owners Mario and his wife Angie and they are the best! Please do yourself a favor and eat here I know you won't be disappointed! Price's are very reasonable and the service and the food here is Excellent.

Just so happened to find Loco’s by chance on our way home from the casino and my family and myself were beyond satisfied. The service was great and the food was even better! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Went with the wife for the first time. Great food and service. Wife had steak fajitas and I had a steak burrito and an order of the guacomole. Everything is spectacular. Mario(the owner) is awesome. Love his stories. Will definitely be back.

I ordered a steak burrito with extra meat, and got a veggie and cheese burrito with a tiny couple pieces of steak. Very disappointed in the food and an overall weird and rushed experience, not even half way through our meal waitress brought check already.

This restaurant is a hidden gem!!!! By far one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. The food is great, service is great and owner is super friendly. I always look forward to their soup that they serve before every meal! 😋

I’m not sure if we just came at a bad time but this was a pretty bad experience all around. We waited for a long time just for drinks, chips, and salsa. When that finally came we ordered and began the long wait for our food. It was served and warm at best, tacos were dry, the soup was awful, and they forgot part of the order. The waitress never came back to check on us until after we were done. Then she asked if we still wanted the part she forgot. Nope. Just the check... which we waited again for. You’d think they were just busy but there were only two other people in there. That should’ve been a sign. Never again.

We have been coming here since they opened and everytime has been a great experience. Their staff is just as great as their food. Their fajitas are amazing as well as the Chimichanga dinner. I have never once been dissatisfied with their service. Do yourself a favor and come to Loco's!!!

Best tacos del pastor I've EVER had!! Angie was very respectful and professional with me as a waitress!! I hope she's promoted for all her hard work! Dear manager and Angie: You guys have the best attitudes ever. I've noticed since the first time I came when I was in my mid to late twenties you really CARED about your business. I intend to be a very sensitive and understanding customer. I'm gonna continue to come back when I can during my days off work and beauty school.

Loco Mexican Restaurant Joliet has the best enchiladas in town, homemade, no msg and the sauce is delish!

The green sauce was delicious and everyone gets free soup!

Good food at a cheap price. The 6.99 lunch specials are large portions. 1/2 Margaritas on Tuesday and Thursday!

Locos is the best Mexican food in all of joliet!! They have the best margaritas, it’s reasonably priced and a fun atmosphere!! The taco dinner is so good and the plate sizes are big!

I grew up in the city of Chicago and always had amazing Mexican Food. Since I've moved to Joliet, it's been hard to find a good Mexican restaurant Tonight I tried this place and it's beyond amazing! The meat is very tender & fresh. I'm currently enjoying the burrito dinner. The salsa is the best I've ever had and you can tell it's made fresh! Thank you again Mario!! I will be back

Used to be a regular here but something has changed. Their mole is not the same as it used to be. I go to a different place now that is much better for the same money.

Good isn't to bad, soup is great. Staff is friendly but a little disorganized. They forget to bring stuff or three people bring they same thing cause they don't communicate. It's always an adventure here. You can also order fries with tacos so I guess that makes up for a lot!

I am so upset by this experience. It should get ONE star for the simple fact that the owner ( at least he "said " he was the owner on the phone) dismissed the horror of finding plastic in two of 4 meals. Making excuses doesn't help the fact that it's not only gross but DANGEROUS to serve plastic that's been cooked into the chicken dishes. No one cares about excuses for why it's there. When it does happen he needs to compensate for it...and not with only the cost of that one or two dishes. The waitresses were great. We tipped generously...on prediscounted price.When we got home we found MORE plastic!!!I do not appreciate his attitude one bit and unfortunately will not EVER be back.

Locos has the best fajitas I have had. The flavor is amazing! Their food is authentic without being overly spiced. Fun dining there too! Mario, the owner, & his wife, Angie are super friendly! He goes to every table to check on his customers. Margarita specials several days of the week. Try Locos! Its will be your new favorite!

If I could give negative stars I would. Waited over 2 hours for my food to be wrong and my margarita was made without alcohol 😡

After a year or two of not being in the area i moved back & tried Loco's once again, the service is beyond amazing!! All new cooks & servers! Cleaning out his staff has helped his business bounce back! Excellent food & service Mario & Angie!!

Bleh they advertise draft beer on their menu but haven't had that in years. Beyond that the food was average and the service was slightly below average. There are much better Mexican restaurants to eat at nearby.

This spot has first-rate service and enjoyable food. My favourite spot in the city. The food and drinks arrived quick and the prices are inexpensive. Recommended.

Stopped in today with for the 1st time and my only regret is not going sooner! My family and I enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and hospitality. Also the margaritas are great, we will definitely be going back!
